1971 Mission South East founded

First Mass held at Walnut Hills Elementary School

First rectory was built
1972 Canonical erection of Mission South East as St. Thomas More Parish
1974 Original 300- seat chapel was completed along with the church gym, Padre and church offices
1983 New church was completed

Diocese of Colorado Springs created
1987 Youth Center was constructed
1993 STM hosted 2,300 French youth for World Youth Day

Perpetual adoration initiated
1994 Evangelization Center/School was constructed
2000 Evangelization Center/School was expanded
2008 Major renovation of the church and the construction of a new adoration chapel were completed
2009
2010		 STM hosts National Catholic Bible Conference
2011 New rectory and prayer garden were completed
2016 STM hosted 1,200 Archdiocese of Denver teachers
